Hello All,

I recently switched from Verizon to Tmobile (long story). I first got the Sidekick 3 and thought it was ok as a device, but I hated using it as a phone. I loved having my email though. Luckily the Pearl came out within my 30 days and i picked it up today. I have about a week left to make up my mind.

I'm hoping to get some help setting up my email, though. It was really easy on the sidekick because they give you a sidekick email account which does push automatically, so i basically had my emails forwarded to that push account and they showed up on my phone...then i set up my email on the phone to send from my regular email account. All was well.

I thought i'd be able to do the same, or a similar, thing on the blackberry. Well i can't figure out how to get email at all if i don't have the "blackberry enterprise" thing. My company is very small and behind the times. Though we have a server and a firewall its all running on old hardware and software and there is no way we have any blackberry anything.

Is there a way to make this do email without the whole enterprise solution?

Coming from Verizon and then the sidekick (neither of which did i ever log on to the web via the computer) did i realize that the things i was looking for weren't on the phone!
