The BBF B/S/T is not eBay, where you try to start a bidding war or take best offers in hopes of getting what you want? If you have an item for sale the list your item, price and hope for the best.

Consider that I bought my 8700c from a Cingular company store in January of this year. I was not due for an upgrade, but they gave me a bit of break, and I paid $349. When selling via a forum, realize that despite that fact that you might very well be the most honest person on earth, buyers still don't get the "warm fuzzy" they'd get from a retail store or big merchant. That's worth something too. So, IMO, you'd be far more likely to sell it at $299 or less. I'm not a potential buyer, just offering my $.02.

xsperf - I think you should edit your post. If you don't, I will.

Someone made you an offer for something you put up over a month ago.

I strongly urge you to change your reply. Now.

Dude, that's way harsh! How about a simple, "no thanks, holding out for a better price"? Or how about a counter-offer? I think a lot of folks that possibly were considering your BB just made a decision to look elsewhere.

Very true statement indeed. I’m not in the market for his 8700 although I already don’t like this guy. This member just pissed off a lot of potential customers.

Agreed! He comes on trying to sell something that he admittedly does not know the value of and then getts pissed when someone makes a legitimate offer.
