Default 8100 & Email Reconciliation

Please Login to Remove!

After sending the service books and changing my handheld over via BIS I've been able to surf the web, send/receive emails and pins but from some reason email reconciliation won't work.

In Messaging Options/Email Reconciliation there is nothing there. Which is weird... all my other BlackBerries never had that issue. I usually have my BlackBerry set to prompt so I can choose if I wanted deleted off of the handheld, BIS, or both.

When I get an email and I want to delete it I still get the prompt but it only deletes off of the handheld. When I log into BIS it's still there. I called my service provider and they told me to remove battery for 30 seconds/Put Back In/Go into Options/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table/Register Now and it should be fine.

I tried this before I called my service provider and I tried again after I talked to them and still when I go into the Email Reconciliation folder there is nothing there to select, it's just blank.

Can any of you BlackBerry experts help me out with this please?

Thanks.

You have already done everything I would have done myself. At this point I would wipe back to factory defaults and start over.

Unhappy Missing Emails on Pearl

1st, I love the new Pearl. 2nd, I am not receiving all my email. Most of the mail is received fine but when I check my computer, I see that at least 6 - 8 posts have not been received. My trial period is up next week and I realy do not want to return the Pearl but if I miss some emails, some of which are critical, I must return it for this defect. Anybody out there experiencing the same issues?

make sure your mail client on your comptuer is set up to leave a copy on the server. if it's not the Pearl won't get any email already delivered to your mail client

have you sent yourself the service books?? that usually resolve any email issue.

Options>Advanced options>host routing table>menu>register now.

At the risk of sounding very dumb, what are the service books and what is the procedure? This AM I received all my emails. The problem seems to occur in the late afternoon. Thanks for your assistance.
