On Cingular, un bb data plan (no tether plan), running Rogers v.51 OS. I am running into some errors querying the modem - some portions of the command strings are not accepted. Any ideas on what might be different for the 8100? See below... Thanks.

No need to post your question twice. As I answered your other posting, I get those also on TMO and it does not affect anything with my connection. However, I think I have read here on the forum that you can't thether with Cingular with their tethering package. I could be wrong, so you may want to do a search and research it a little more yourself.

That is my understanding regarding Cingular. They do not have the modem capability right now.
