Please note that this is still Alpha software according to their website. However, it seems to be working for some 8100 users.

I don't know that it is junk. They seem to say on the site that it is still experimental and they ask for our help in fixing problems.

They also have a Forum and the programmers/owners seem to be answering everyone's questions posted on the Forum.

I also note that their FAQ seems to indicate that there are many setup issues depending on which phone and service someone has.

I did not see any representations on their site that said this was a program that will work on any phone.

Lastly, it's FREE. It's not like they are stealing people's money with a crappy program.

So on that basis, I think labeling the effort as junk is unfair.

I was thinking of trying it because the concept is cool, radio via the Net, on a cell phone.

Did you install this on your 8100? Once freezing, were you able to uninstall the program or did it screw up the phone to where you had to wipe the phone and start over?

Thanks.

They seem to be responsive, so e-mail them to ask for help. I'd be mad if it froze my phone, for sure. Go through their parent company:

You do understand what Alpha software is don't you? it clearly states that this product is still in development and they are looking for input/bug reports.

Your the first I have heard of having an "error 200" and now the phone being junk. I'm sure a lot of people have downloaded this BETA app and not had that problem with it.
From the Blackberry error guide and error 200 states

"200 Application manager threw an uncaught exception The application manager event thread threw an uncaught exception and so cannot continue execution."

Nothing about the flash being messed up or anything pointing to the BB not working ever again. Did you try a hard reset? Maybe a full wipe and install of the OS? There are many options that could have caused and many that could fix this problem your having. By chance do you have the error log?

Default Strong Edge connection required

You need to have a strong EDGE connection. Try one station after another and give some time for them to kick in. After some patience I managed to get 1 station working, so can confirm it DOES WORK. Their site also gives you a hint how to add the station of your choice (url pasting). I think this prog has a great potential..
