Click the Menu button, then Tools, then Multimedia Center. Once this opens click on the button that says Melody Studio. Open your wav, click Save As, and select Oki ADPCM as the file type.
Now upload this file to your web server. Before you can download to the 7100, you need to make sure that the correct MIME type has been set. MIME types tell a browser how to handle certain file extensions. You want to add the MIME type "audio/adpcm adp". The way to do this differs from server to server, so check your web server's documentation or speak w/ your hosting company.
Whenever I get to "Menu button, then Tools," I cannot click the multimedia part... its not accessible....
Alright, this is pretty messed up and pissing me off. I was using the MMCenter perfectly fine, i dont kno what I had pressed but all of a sudden the freakin menu tree of the directory disappeers and with out that , the prog is useless. what do i do?

I just got my first BB (8700c) and I am addicted! In my excitement, I hastily purchased a ringtone, which I cannot access because "the page is not supported by the browser." Is there something that I can change on my device that will enable me to access it? Or is there another remedy that will allow me to get my ringtone?? Thanks in advance!
I have downloaded some ringtones that was on one of the postings and have them on my Desktop. How do I get them from desktop to my BB 7290? One is a Midi file the others are MP3 files plus there is also a Theme in the file. Can someone help please

OK so I converted a mp3 to wav to adp and it plays fine using the Melody Studio of Mobile Phone Tools. I am pretty certain I changed the MIME settings for my host but the BlackBerry plays nothing. No sound at all. Anyone else wanna try it? Anyone wanna host it for me if the problem is my host?
its showing the right format off the host when i try downloading it on my pc. if you cant get it to work then try putting it onto www.huenik.com/blackberry
appologies y'all. I've not been keeping up with the forum. I took the multimedia.zip file off of my web site a while back. If any of you still need it, then let me know.
