Hello everyone, Im a new blackberry user, i have no i idea what im doing, soo lool if u think my questions are dumb its ok to laugh! i tried searching for this topic but i couldent find anything, first of all i was a nextel customer, now with tmobile, i just the 8100 pearl, i was wondering how do i get my contacts of my nextel sim to my t mobile sim, is there a way througth the blackberry and its software, cuzz i can get my contacts of my nextel sim on to my comp via usb using microsoft access! so i was wondering from there on can i get those contacts onto my blackberry! THANKS!
some GSM company's have a sim card reader that will allow the sim information to be copied to another sim, i know some cingular stores have the equip. I can also tell you that VZW has the hardware to do it, but they will charge you $10. For some, a small price to pay for several hundred contacts

Ok sounds good, thanx alot, umm for the vzw advise, im aware they do it, but do they do it for gsm?, plus my phone came with a software that connects to my phone, is there a way to just get the contacts through syncronization from outlook or something, you see im new to all this, so if you guys dont feel like telling what to do, aww just direct me to a good website or post that can kind of give me guidelines and tricks for this stuff. thanx alot guys, lool it feels cool to have a blackberry!
Import the contacts into Microsoft Access from your SIM card. Assuming you have MS Outlook installed, you can import from Access into Outlook by going to File ---> Import/Export (in Outlook) and follow the import wizard. Once your contacts are in Outlook you can easily synchronize them w/you BB. Hope this helps.
