Default How do you uninstall OZ Tmobile messenger?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok I tried last night to make some space on my BB. So I used the DM to wipe OZ which didn't work so I then deleted it on the handheld along with the module. When I rereg... With the network it loaded its self back on to my BB? I was like what the? I didn't not delete the service book though so I'm thinking that's why it came back. Dos Tmo push this everything you register though?

I deleted the service book. If you happen to re-register the handheld to the network again, it will unfortunately come back.

If you read all of my post you will see that I did that and deleted everything else that has to do with OZ messaging. As soon as i reregister T-mobile pushs it back onto my handheld which I think is just plain wrong. Dos anyone know a way around this? What if you where to call Tmo and ask for this not to happen? Has anyone gotten it to go away?

Mine's gone, then again, I haven't had to re-register the handheld to the network.

I like to free up as mucg space as I can and apps like this one I dont use since I have IM+ so its just sitting there taking up memory that could be used for something else. I would have thought one of the mods would have known a work around beside deleting everything and not reregistering on the network

I deleted the "T-Mobile USA IM Client Application" from the service book and then removed OZ messenger and its module. After the pearl resets, the oz messenger didn't come back. I know it will come back when service book is re-sent from T-Mobile but for now this is good enough for me.

He is talking about IM+, and you can find it at several different sites, such as this one:

IM+: MSN/Yahoo!/ICQ/AOL/ Jabber/Google Talk Instant Messenger for BlackBerry RIM
