same here, although when i talkd to bb tech they said it was due to my just activating the phone and that it may take up to 72 hours before i can access that site and set-up imail.........

wtf? 72 hours? thats really eating into my 14 day trial......i can't set-up yet thru the phone either...

sorry for the rant, but looking forward to using this bb's features.....

Thumbs down T-mobile privisioning DOWN!! Who else is getting hurt by this.

Ok I made some changes last night to my account right when Tmobile had there provisioning tool go down. So there telling me that anyone who just got blackberry intrent service can't set up there emails or anyone who made a major change since last night also can't sign onto there BIS account. Who else is having this problem? You would think since its such a major problem they would have fixed this

I noticed today my email, Gmail, is delayed by approx 10 minutes where as because of Gmails special love making with RIM I would get emails within 5-10 seconds of being sent... :(

I was just about to post a new thread asking if anyone had similar issues... Would this be the cause?

Like I said this is only affecting new customers or people that have changed something major like numbers and things of that sort not anyone that has already had the service in the past. When I first got my pearl BIS was set up in 5 minutes and working fine. Now there telling people 72 hours. Why? Because of the provision problem with Tmobile and RIM.

make them extend your 14 day trail since your not able to fully test your device and the t-mobile network! they will do this on a call to call basis(talking to a rep right now) So make sure you all call and B****CH as much as you can... alot of people are calling now but we need more to call!!!!
ALSO make sure you get your $5.00 credit!!!!!!!!!
They say there working with RIM now and blah blah blah... A master ticket has been made and there working on it....

Feeling the pain....

I called TMO customer service. The person said it has only been 48 hours and I will need to wait untill 72 hours has passed before they can do anything.

So I called the sales rep at the TMO store where I purchased the Blackberry. He felt bad and gave me a $25.00 credit on my account. Said that there was not much he could do.

I then called TMO customer service again. This time the rep created a service number and forwarded my call to Engineering. I talked with the Engineer for a few minutes. Basically every change that was made as of 10-16-06 needs to be fixed by an engineer. I was very nice to the guy and 10 minutes after I ended the call I got a text message that it was working.

but the question is can you log into your BIS site now and set up your email? I also got a text saying everything was fine but I still cant set up my email or log into BIS from a desktop or from the BB
My change was made last night so that would be the 17th lol... I dont think they are going to have eceryone that created a blackberry account in the last 3 days talk to eng... if the provision tool was working properly it should do it for them.

I was able to login to My T-Mobile and add email addresses shortly after i received the text message.

The engineer that I spoke to said that until provisioning is working properly, each account will need to be fixed manually.

dude, this is a bad joke............

i'm picturing my request sitting in some lazy mf'rs inbox, waiting to be clickd.

called them again, and heard the phrase 'wait 72 hours' for about the hundreth time.

no one could explain how other carriers manage to set-up internet mail seconds after a new account is activated.

nor was there any mention of them having any problems.....which, i suppose, could be forgivable.

nothing like getting a new phone and having to wait 3 days for it to work.......

alright, i'm going to stop talking about this now.........sorry for the ranting.
