I've noticed that the 8700r simulator generates almost no output for the fledgecontroller. For example, in the Simulator Guide for JDE4.1, there is a sample test script which is supposed to generate 4 lines of output from making a call, key presses, and such. Running the script on the 7290 emulator gives output exactly matching what is shown in the Simulator Guide, but the same script on 8700r only outputs the "Connecting to Fledge session..." and "Disconnected" lines. The only other line of output I've been able to get from the 8700r simulator is "System: first idle", which occurs only once per instance of the simulator, after all the startup applications have run.

Having so little output is making it difficult to use automated testing, since I can't tell what happened at all. Is there any way to have the 8700r simulator generate more than the bare minimum output for the fledgecontroller?
