There is a little blue number "1" with a yellow circle next to it on the top left side of the main screen on my 8703e. I thought it was from Ramble IM, showing a new IM. But there are no IM's and even when I'm not on Ramble it still shows. Any ideas?

No I did not. It appeared originally while on Ramble. Just will not go away. Tried hard resets, etc.

Depending on the theme u have installed it sounds like it MIGHT be a new message in your blackberry messenger app. Take a look there.

BINGO! That was it. I never use Blackberry Messanger so had no idea that was there. In fact, I had it hidden from the main screen.
