Do you mean MicroSD?

See threads that have discussed this. The original T-Mo phone and OS does NOT support 2GB cards. The Rogers, O2 and Vodafone do.

But there are tradeoffs in using other carrier's OS's as opposed to sticking with T-Mo.

I have T-Mo and lots of 1GB cards. I can certainly use and want a 2GB, but I am waiting until T-Mo comes out with an upgraded OS before going to 2GB cards.

Sorry to break it to ya but....

It will not work on Pearl!!!

You need a microSD card, miniSD will not fit!

Do you mean MicroSD? If you mean mini, many people make that mistake.

If you got a mini, you can still use it on your digital camera or other devices.

Or make an exchange for the micro, if as you say, you just got the miniSD chip.

has anyone seen an adapter to allow microsd to fit in minisd slot? I've only seen the micro-to-sd adapters.

I would think that would be impossible to make since an adapter for a micro to fit into a mini sd slot would be pretty small. Don't think it can be done. Well, I guess it could be done, but why bother?

Besides, the prices are so cheap now, adapters are becoming nonessential. I mean, 1Gb microSD chips are $25. 1GB minis are even less. And I just bought four new SanDisk Ultra 1GB SD chips for $15 each, on eBay.

eBay: SanDisk Ultra II 1 GB SD Secure Digital Memory Card 1GB (item 250048142976 end time Nov-10-06 12:56:11 PST)

At these prices, adapters don't make sense [except for the micro and mini to work on an SD device].

Well, maybe we will get to the days where memory is installed with a syringe.

What I don't like is that we have so many formats. I have Micro-Drives [IBM], compact flash, Sony memory sticks, MM, SD, MiniSD, MicroSD, etc.
