I had an interesting thing happen on the phone yesterday. I was on a call using a Jabra Bluetooth headset. The Bluetooth headset battery started to beep, indicating a low battery.

So I found my wired headset, plugged it in to the 2.5mm port on the side of the Pearl. Then I proceeded to hold down the button on the Jabra Bluetooth headset to disconnect from the phone.

All of the above was done while on the call. A few seconds after the Jabra headset disconnects, the phone REBOOTS. The white screen appeared then the tumbling hourglass for the next few minutes.

For those interested I am using V4.2.0.64, and on T-Mobile.

Has this happened to anyone else?

sounds like you over loaded your 8100 a little bit and it needed a break! Other than you I have never heard od such a thing

I've had that happen before. It used to happen more often on my 7100t. It seems like I've read about others having that same problem. it's not always with a bluetooth headset either. It just decides it's time for a reboot....rude!

If it gets worse, you can exchange your Pearl on a warranty replacement. Most likely you'll get a "refurbished" phone (usually they put new case on and no scratches).
