Default Mac Users: how do you sync BB to your Mac?

Please Login to Remove!

What combination of address book, mail, and calendaring do you use to sync to the Mac? Or don't you try?

I'm a Palm user now, using OS 10.4 with Apple's Mail. Address Book, and iCal, but thinking of getting an 8703e from Verizon.

there is only one option to sync to the mac right out unless you use boot camp or parallels and that is a program called pocketmac, it is capable of syncing with a couple of programs (inluding addressbook and iCal I believe) but personally i sync with entourage..

Host BES, Link2Exchange, using Entourage.

I am still not a big fan of pocketmac, though it is better now

I use PocketMac to sync with AddressBook and with iCal. I love and had not experienced any problems with it so far.

PocketMac is asking for my BB serial# and I'm unsure of where to find it. Any ideas?

are you using PocketMac 4.0? - the program shouldn't be asking for your serial - the BB's pin number shows up in PM dialog box if you're hooked up properly via USB.

Post Upgraded to 8700 (from 7510) and having mac sync problems...help!

I have had a 7510 and it sync fine with my mac using pocket mac (version 3.13).

Now that I have a 8700 it won't sync. What is happening is that it detects the device is connected and when I give it the operation to sync it tells me it cannot detect the device--when I hit ok it detects the device again and puts me in this looping issue.

Please advise!

Thanks!

Did you try the Ver 4.0 PocketMac software? Its available free from the main BB website.

Remember to unistall ver 3.00 using the uninstaller program in the pocketmac 3 dmg file before your install the new one... I made the mistake of NOT doing this (i used the usual mac method of dragging the app to the trash) and the new installation would not work.)
