Default Email Shortcut on Main screen shows (-1)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, i'm still relatively new to my blackberry and this is 1 thing thats making me mad because I don't understand it at all.. I setup my email fine using email options, added my gmail account and created my blackberry account. Now they both say [email address] (-1) on the home screen when I have NO emails, and when i get a new message it shows like normal and when i delete it or even read the new message it goes back to -1.. Any idea whats causing this?

Could there be an unopened email in the saved folder?

Mine does the same thing, it is supposedly the number of messages you have deleted.

I asked this same question a few weeks ago, and I was told remove the battery for 10 seconds and then replace it. That seems to work.

You have to go to your UserCP and change your service provider in your profile
