Are you looking for a pre-populated list of wines and/or whisky and you can add your note?

Otherwise, you can use the MemoPad from Blackberry device.

I am looking for some way to add the name, vintage, etc, along with my notes and then be able to search and/or filter to bring up a list.

If you have the eOffice program, you might be able to entry your info you wish in an excel. May be you should look for some open source database programs.

What about pocket day notes? won't it do this?
