so before dinner yesterday, i noticed a family member with a treo 700p.
i ask to see to it(i used to be a treo fan), it was nice, lots of new functions and heavy.
i asked if it had EVDO and the reply was "yes", i decided to see which was faster, the treo 700p or the bb7130 both on verizon EVDO.
the treo could not keep up, loaded up some different sites and stll the treo was way behind.
anyone else ever been in a race?

Were you comparing by tethering to a computer or the browser on the devices? The OS of the device, browser settings, and other hardware differences will not make the comparison a fair comparison.

I think it's a fair comparison of the general usability of the handheld Web browsing, etc. I don't care what the benchmarks say ... it's the overall performance of the device in my hands that matters.

i agree with mark, its all about when its in your hands.
i did a side by side comparison, BB in my hand and treo in my cousins hand, we hit go at the same time, treo was much slower.
