I don't see wireless OTA download link.
(The old link for BlackBerry Browser is http://www.pdaapps.com/ota/VeriChat.jad ...)

I only see the v1.96b BlackBerry Desktop installer -- I have emailed PDAapps to see what is new in this version...

The OTA download link was updated to download the 1.96b version....Thats how I got that version.....

Seems they have fixed the annoying "away" becomes online problem when someone messages you. That was my biggest beef...

Interesting...I just installed it last night. First time on the BB, but I have used the app for quite a while on other platforms. I did have the "away becomes online when someone messages you" problem.

Can anyone confirm that Verichat went with a single socket version and fixed the logoff problems?

I have been logged on and off of AIM a few times with 1.96b "T-Mobile" version. Hasn't happened with Yahoo or MSN, and I do not use ICQ.

This isn't the single socket version yet, but it does improve the logoff-login issues somewhat.

I'm using the T-Mobile AIM/Yahoo/ICQ messenger program that was to be bundled on another model, and it works just perfectly on my 7730. Anybody with T-Mobile tried both this and VeriChat? I'm curious if either is significantly better than the other. The T-Mo one has the single virtue of being free to T-Mo customers here: http://www.t-mobileapps.com/download...m?selDevice=14
