Does any one know of a way to close an open phone call through code? I know that I can register a PhoneListener and handle the different situations, but is there a way to actually end the call.

For instance, I want to develop an app which tries to call three numbers in a row until one succeeds. So it tries the first one for X seconds/rings, if that fails, tries the next one, etc.

I suppose alternatively, is there another way to place a phone call other than through the Invoke API?

It's kind of a hack, but You might try....

EventInjector.invokeEvent(new EventInjector.KeyEvent(EventInjector.KeyEvent.KEY_ DOWN, Characters.KEY_ESCAPE, 0, repeat));
EventInjector.invokeEvent(new EventInjector.KeyEvent(EventInjector.KeyEvent.KEY_ UP, Characters.KEY_ESCAPE, 0, repeat));
