Dear all,

I've got a BB 7100 (brand new, issued from my company) and I'm totally lost. So far I've been owning a Siemens S45 which came with its own software that allowed to synchronize with Outlook. But the BB doesn't ship with any software whatsoever, and if I plug in the USB connection that came with my BB Windows doesn't recognize any valid driver (nor do I find one on the Net).

So - for dummies like myself - how do I synchronizte Outlook contacts with BB phonebook?

When they gave you the BlackBerry, did they install any software on your PC? If not. call you IT department and tell them you want the BlackBerry "Desktop Manager" software. DM contains Intellisync, which syncs to Outlook.

If your IT Department has already upgraded their BlackBerry infrastructure to version 4, they should tell you that you already have "wireless sync", which is exactly that.

I would call the IT group (sorry)...
