Smile BB software

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking for a BB application that like the CHOLESTEROL TRACKER on the PPC? ANything out there that allows one to track yearly cholesterol readings?

And what about an application for travelers such as POCKET TRAVEL also on the PPC? When planning a trip, I am trying to enter details such as hotel/plane/car rentals, etc..

Sorry about using the PPC as a reference, but I just migrated and am trying to figure out what is there that I can use to substitute what I add.

Any help/suggestions will be most welcome!

THanks,
CP

Other applications worth adding:

Best IRC Client for Blackberry (to date):

jmIrc - Java mobile IRC-client (J2ME)

Up and coming 'killer app' - FREE ssh/telnet:

MidpSSH | SSH and Telnet client for Mobile devices (MIDP/J2ME)
MidpSSH is PHAT--thanks for this one!

[QUOTE=KonTiki]

I have tried both VNC (free) and Remote Desktop for Mobiles($29.95) and there is no comparison. VNC is free and offers no security or encryption, a risk to anyone sniffing.

Not if your'e using BES; unless you dont trust your enterprise infrastructure...

Can someone help me?
I'm staring bleary eyed at my new 8707v and all it's accompanying bits and have succeeded in downloading free pocketmac software. come as far as registration but can't find the required serial number anywhere. have emailed support but can anyone help?

Default SPOT not working

Hi newbie here, I read this post by funkym

Hello,

my favorite Software on my 7290 is a GPS tool called "Spot". It's a commercial one, I know, but who cares. If Software is good I am willed to pay for

So anyone who's interested: Spot
however I've not been so lucky with SPOT on my Nextel 7520 as I get position but no map and a "WMS error". There are a bunch of error mssages but I can't get to them all before the Demo version I'm running times out...
I'm waiting to hear back from "Skylab"

Default Quick Caller Id Question

Is There Software Out There Where You Can Get Caller Id From Calls That Aren't In Your Phone Book Like You Would Receive On Your Landline Phone?

Default BB weather / corrector and 8703

Just loaded BBweather & BB corrector on my new 8703 - getting the error: couldnot find a service book entry for IPPP. Hmmm, what to do?

1) Did you "Disable MDS Proxy" option?
2) Have you set your TCP APN for your particular service provider?

Did not have this problem with older version of WorldMate.

Any ideas?
just a thought...
i've never actually looked at an 8700 but if there is a hot key of any kind (one that you can assign an application to) then you might want to see if you can change this key to WorldMate. This is what I did when the link to my browser dissapeared. after assigning it, the button came back. sry if this is no help, im a n00b

Default Quick Compose

I just installed "quick compose" which looks like a wonderful program. It appears that any message I sent through the application are "text messages" not regular e-mail. Correct?

Does anyone know of any tool to monitor your GPRS traffic?
I can't afford the expensive plans and I am constantly going over my allowable limit.
Specifically, i am interested to know how big are the periodical updates for the BBWeather program.

Thanks guys.
