Default Browser Automatically launches???

Please Login to Remove!

Every time I take my BB out of it's holster, the Browser automatically launches. I have the Fortte holster with "sleeper magnet".

How do I stop this behaviour?

Do you have your Browser set to one of the two convenience keys (side or front top) which might be hitting a spot on the holster, thus opening automatically? (I believe some 8700 units such as from TMO set the front top middle key, the one between the green and red keys to the browser as a default).

To change that, go to OPTIONS, SCREEN/KEYBOARD, at the bottom of the page, change the FRONT CONVENIENCE KEY OPENS option.

I've noticed that on the 8700's when used with cases that fit tight. As JSanders posted you are simply hitting the center convenience key when in, or removing from, the holster.
