Default 24 CTU Phone ringtone available ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all!

I am a newbie to this forum.
I could not find a compatible ringtone for the 7100t.
I have read here it is possible to convert mp3s to ringtones for the 7100. This seems difficult for a simpleton like me

I have the mp3 of the 24ctu phone available (it is so cool sounding).
If anyone wants to do the leg work to convert it I can send it to you...

Thanks

unless 24 had an actual song prior to season four, there's not really much to it as far as a 'theme song' would go. its basically just tones... nothing fancy. however, it reaches some fairly high stabs/spikes and i would think that it would probably sound distorted through the handheld's speaker. i went ahead and forwarded you that one (the opening sequence) as well as the commercial break/ending tones (which would likely sound better on the handheld).

...unless he's not talking about a theme ringtone at all, in which case you atleast have that now... heh

I have the ringtone that the telphones on 24 use, not the theme song. I have it in midi, mp3 and wav. Anyone who wants it can email me at [email address]. If anyone has a site to make them available, let me know and I will send them. Also, my mp3 is nto very good. If someone has it, can you email it to me at the above address. Thanks.

Isn't the CTU ringtone just the standard one from a Cisco VOIP phone?

I got the 24 CTU ringtone a little while ago. Cant remember which site but it came up in Google.

I like the ringtone. Its subtle unlike the musical ones out there and works well in the office. Also, fans of the show will recognise it straight away while others will just think its a regular ring.

Default Advice needed on that rington

I was able to download an mp3 version of the CTU rington to my computer (a Mac that I do not connect to my BB 8800), and have tried emailing the ringtone to my BB as an attachment, but I cannot get it into the BB.

I also tried a couple of the websites listed here for the rington directly from the BB, but my device freezes up before ever opening the page.

Any advice?

Thanks!
