I am having a terrible time getting my 7100I to synch with my GroupWise 7.0 Nextel is telling me that the 7100i doesn't support GroupWise. Does anyone know how to help me?

What exact issues are you experiencing and are you on a BES or using BIS and the Desktop software?

Desktop software supports Groupwise 6.5, but not 7.0. I had to downgrade to 6.5, set up the desktop software and sync once, then upgrade to 7.0.
One bad thing about using 7.0 is that it won't sync cell numbers. I had to map the cell numbers on the handheld to the pager number in groupwise 7.0. It's an inconvenience, but it works.

Actually, Groupwise 7 support was introduced in Desktop Manager 4.2, which is backwards compatible with older models. (Just some features won't work on older models, such as Media Manager.)

I had tried 4.2 when it was released with no luck. Since I've heard several times that Groupwise 7.0 is supposed to be supported, when you mentioned it, I tried it again. The setup is a bit decieving. The selections are Groupwise, and Groupwise 6. You have to select Groupwise, then set up all of your contacts folders. I must not have taken the time to figure that out the last time I tried to use it.

You can blame Nokia/Intellisync for that one
