Default Email Forwarding?

Please Login to Remove!

So, I have an interesting question to ask. Previously, when I using 957's, I had the capability of sending a copy of all incoming messages to another email address. With the BWC for TMobile this doesn't seem to be a possibility. I've even called Tmobile and tried to do some research and even some backward workarounds and have no resolve. It's great to be able to have ten other emails come into my handheld, but like others on the Mobitex network, I use my @tmo.blackberry.net email as an interactive pager. This means others don't have the time to copy my corporate email address when they send a page to this address. Anyone know how to get a hold of the pop3 settings for @tmo.blackberry.net mailboxes or have another solution for getting these email forwarded to another mailbox without having to manually forward for device ot BWC.
Thanks!!

In my BWC account (TMO) I am able to enter a BCC-address for this purpose under "Profile" after I have logged in.

Default Thanks

I noticed that a well, however, what I need is to have all messages sent to my handheld to be copied to my exchange mail box as well. I guess it's just not possible unless you're running BES. Hey, I wonder if the redirector without BES running can copy wirelessly the messages that your handheld receives?

Thanks

Do you have your handheld integrated with the exchange server, do you use Web Client to view the messages that are sent directly to your work exchange server?

The general idea is to have your Web Client integrated with your work email, then everything that hits your work email will also be pushed to your BlackBerry. Then you can have the option to send a BCC copy of your sent mail from your hand held to your exchange server, this is so you can track your outgoing mail from the BlackBerry.

How are you viewing your work emails (email off of the exchange) right now?

Yes, if you'll read the first message in this topic, I do receive my corporate email accounts on my Blackberry. However, I have a dedicated paer/email address for my BB and this is what I would like to have a copy of sent to my corporate email. My coworkers use the imcingular.com Mobitex network for interactive paging. I guess there's no way to do this. I just wish I could some sort of pop or IMAP settings for the @tmo.blackberry.net address.

That's a great link and I have configured the exchange server for Mobile access as described, however, with a BB and a tmobile data plan (tmo.blackberry.net), don't know what the next step is. Any ideas? How can I make it talk to the tmo address and vice versa?

I am having the same question. I currently have the little 900 AND a Samsung I300 phone. Now with the 7290 coming out with Cingular, I am looking at rolling both of those into the 7290. My concern is my 900 uses the "Interactive" address for messages. So I have an entire address book of about 300 people all with [email address] and the 7290 seems to only have "Pin" addresses as "Interactive" messages. So do I basically need to request all those people send me their PIN?

No. From now on you will no longer use the interactive messaging function but just use email. Believe it works just as fast. You'll just need to send your new "mobile email" address to your address book recipients. BTW, I haven't heard back on this exchange situation yet either. Still don't know how to work it out.

Thanks Chuck, I was afraid of that. I guess you also lose the sexy D for Delivered and R for Read. A small price to pay for the convenience.
