The other evening - I had about 11 new e-mail messages on my pearl. I had already read them at work - so I just wanted to mark them all as read.

I wasn't sure if I could do such a thing - but I went into the menu and saw a command that said something like mark previous unread. I did it and everything under the message I was reading was marked read. I don't believe I was dreaming this.

I went to do it again yesterday and I see no such command listed.

Am I going crazy? Is there another way to mark all read? I SWEAR I just did it the other night. Now I don't even see the command in any menu.

I get that option (on a BB7290) only when I've selected a date header, not when I've selected an individual e-mail. Hope this helps.

wuberry is correct. Highlight a date and select "Mark Prior Opened."

There is also another way to do this with just specific messages instead of all messages....Highlight the first message. Then use the shift key and scroll down to highlight a group of messages. Then you can use the menu key and "Mark Opened" or "Delete" as desired.
