Everyone has a dell, I have a sony...
Everyone likes small sports cars ... I like a big truck....
Everyone has the black one ... I have the white..
As long as it isn't pink... it can be anyones phone...

I agree with fiubc. Also, I don't think the white pearl was meant to be geared towards the female market versus a more consumer friendly version.

The hockey team I play for has white on white jerseys, would anyone think that was too "Girly."

Its all about choice folks, if you like that black, so be it..

Has Anyone even Heard anything about them possibly[ making different cases or cases with graphics on them for the future? I think the black is better and white is kinda girly but would like a different look all around like graphics.

I have one. I hardly consider myself girly. I also am not concerned about what others may say or think. I am my own person and am quite capable of being confident that it's not girly, gay or whatever you may choose. Yes, it's cetainly not for everyone. I like it because it's NOT like every other freakin BB I see and I see LOTS. I am a professional IT consultant and deal with companies with over $1 billion in revenue. None of them give a hoot what phone I carry or what it looks like. They do care that I am able to monitor and communicate as needed reliably 24x7 from a little thing as the 8100. It certainly does not look like a toy. The color is "pearl" in nature and doesn't look like some plastic toy. Everyone that has seen it thinks it stands out in a good way. I do't see many people saying the iPod's or MacBook, etc., look girly. Whats the difference? My $.02 As others have said, to each his/her own. If everyone had the exact same BB how boring would that be?

There is no girly about having a white phone.. for this matter a White Pearl. Different maybe but not girly.

You probably have seen how this White Pearl looks with the different color of OEM Skins available in one of the threads here. But I believe I did not post the White Pearl in White Skin -- definitely this does not look "lady-like".

One of the photos below uses a black battery door instead of the standard white. I sometimes fashion it this way if I am at the office and doesn't want people looking at me when I am talking in my Pearl thinking I'm talking to my iPod

. I thought it looked pretty nice. But I really like it with the White skin. It looks clean.

Shrug. If memory serves - the thread started as a poll. "Girly or not Girly" I don't think you need an essay to answer that one. Who cares if its a chick phone or not? I think the Mazda Miata is a chick car... If you were to give me one I would sure as hell take it! But I'd rather have a Vet... People like what they like. Nobody said you COULDN'T like the White Pearl because it was girly. They just asked if you thought it "looked" girly.
