when i hook up my data cable to use wit my comp. the part that plugs into the bb moves up and dwn quite a bit. it has a alot of play in it,and i gotta move it around for the dm to recongize it
is this common or is it deffective?

How long have you had? Should fit snug (but not tight). Has it been pulled out accidently at an angle (which may have bent the metal)? Take it to your service provider and see if they can look at and/or put another sync cable in to see if it is the cable or the phone.

Seems like the plug inside the phone is lose. If i were you i'd try to get a new phone.

once i plug into the phone it moves up and dwn quite a bit
