Pretty much like any other cellular device.
You're only noticing the interference because it happens to be on a frequency that easily affects electronics (800 or 850MHz). Insert a SIM for a carrier that uses 1900MHz into the very same Blackberry and you won't notice any interference (at least, not until you place your Blackberry right on top of something else). That doesn't mean that your 8700 is suddenly "healthier" for you... With any wireless device there's a potential health risk. Don't assume that electronic interference, or lack thereof, is any sort of indicator of the safety of the device because it isn't.
That is, unless you have electronic implants in your head or something.

Right -- if you bother to look at the back of your 8700c there's a speaker that's pretty hard to miss. If you're pocketing your Blackberry it really shouldn't be in a pocket with anything else anyway.
