Just type it. There isn't a "place" to type it.

A quick search yielded these 2 threads

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ighlight=meppd

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ighlight=meppd

Both have info on how to enter the code.

No, you cant just type it in. You only get 10 chances to enter the correct code otherwise the phone will be locked permanently. Just follow the instructions from either one of the threads i told you about.

P.S. you can leave the sim card in but make sure you turn the radio off.

Just FYI, I wasn't speaking about the unlock code. I was talking about the MMPED. Glad everything is working.

As has already been answered for you in other threads, if you can't get Cingular to do it then you are left with the 3rd party unlocking services. if they can't do it either then you are out of luck.

From what i have been reading, there are only a handful of places that can unlock a Rogers BB. I think one of the websites was gsmphonesourse.com

Cingular has given me two codes for my 8100 so far and neither code works. I checked with Adam at gsmphonesource.net and he says the IMEI is not in his database. Not sure what that means, but so far it's not unlockable.
