Default How do you remove the "DATA CONNECTION REFUSED" warning?

Please Login to Remove!

I don't have a data plan with my carrier(Cingular), I go with a pay per usage rate because I use internet & email not very often. The homescreen on my Pearl always says Data Conection Refused. It annoys me to see that. I can access internet & email just fine tho. I've been on Cingular's tech chat & received no help but to purchase the data plan.

Its one of my quirks. I suffer from mild OCD, so someone PLEASE HELP ME!

2nd subject:

How do I reset the image count on the camera? I have deleted some pics but the image file name keeps going higher.
Thank You!

And does your phone still work with your network turned off, or does that matter?

The phone still works, I can still use the medianet browser but not the BB browser. But email & sites like google, yahoo, etc. work. I just choose to be on a pay per use basis. GPS funtcions will not work without data plan tho. :(
