When i do a lookup, for someone who has a BB. And then view the lookup. I get his email address and tel number i also get a pin number. What is this pin number and can i stop it from showing a when i view a lookup?

That does not happen for me. What version of BES are you using?

The PIN is the device PIN that is assigned to that user in the BES - i dont know if this can be disabled.

That is a feature of 4.0. When you do the lookup of another BlackBerry user it returns the PIN number of thier BlackBerry deivce. That can be used for pin-to-pin message (kind of like a bb-to-bb text message that bypasses the BES)

Retrieval of the PIN was added in v4. It's an excellent enhancement.
