Default Email without BES or webmail??

Please Login to Remove!

Hello - Is there any way to have my email forwarded to my VZW 7250 either with using the rules within Outlook or the redirector with my laptop turned off?

My company does not offer a webmail and I can not use BES but I would really like to get my email while on the road and having my laptop turned off.

Any way this is a possibility?????

thanks

What type of email are you setup on? Exchange or just strictly Pop? There are resolutions for both just explain your setup and we can help!

The Exchange server can forward to your BIS/BWC email address.

I tried getting around the redirector as well by setting a rule in Outlook to forward a copy to my BlackBerry address, but Exchange is dumb and actually generates a FW: message, which makes it look like it is sent from yourself and does not preserve the subject line or reply-to. So unless someone knows that it can be done correctly (totally transparent forwards, the way GMail does it), this is NOT a good idea.

it seems like Takeshi says you can have forwarded from the server not Outlook rules. My questions are will the email still stay on the server? even if I delete it from the BB and will it still go to my laptop?

anyone?

You dont need a redirector if you have OWA access with Exchange you can set it up via the Cingular or T-Mobile Web Client, just go to profile and setup new account and say use OWA, i dont have to have a redirector or anything and i get all of my exchange email directly to my blackberry with no strings attached.

But that will still delay your messages by up to 15 minutes, and that's simply unacceptable to me. I'll deal with the hassle of making sure Redirector is running so I can get my emails within 30 seconds.

Check with whoever administers your Exchange server.

1> OWA is Outlook Web Access, a webmail version of Exchange. However, it sounds like your company doesn't offer it.

2> Ask your Exchange admin to add a forward to your account. Exchange can forward mail to an additional address (it's setup in active directory.)

Yes it will. Mail continues to be delivered to your Exchange mailbox.
