I picked up a BlackBerry 7100t a week ago, and have been having general software problems. For one, the clock's always wrong. When I look at the Date/Time control panel, the Network Time is correct, but when I copy it over, it's always off by an hour. I'm in the right time zone; does BB just not know about Daylight Savings Time?
Then, I try getting random internet apps working by setting my APN. The instructions for doing this (
http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=2185) say to enter wap.voicestream.com under the TCP control panel, and then to reboot it byt removing the battery. When I do this, and the phone boots up again, the changes I made to the TCP settings have disappeared.
I initially figured this was just a buggy phone, so I exchanged it for a new one, and it has exactly the same problems. Has this happened to anyone else? Would I be better off with the Cingular version, or with a different, more reliable Blackberry?
