Speaking of Geeks and Avatars... Since I did not have an avatar, I had to create one. So I used a close-up photo of my LCD monitor that I took a while ago with my DSLR. I used a 50mm lens on a 3x extension ring, tripod-mounted it with the lens just 3 millimeters from the screen and an exposure of 1.6 seconds@f2.8 (with a grey screen color). I then used Photoshop to crop an image to capture just 20 RGB pixels (part of a letter "v") and you can actually see the red, green, and blue sub-pixels in each pixel-unit. If you're really bored or really geeky, you can read up on TFT LCD displays. I'd post a sudo-link but I'm not supposed to post a link until after my 10th post so I don't want to push it with the mods (I've heard about them

Anyway... I am looking forward to getting a phone that I can actually use for something. I am not much of a talker, but I am "directionally-challenged" so I am looking forward to nav on the phone.
