For many months I have used my BB with XP. I went over to Vista (Business) and have not had any success with my many attempts. I tried to follow the instructions for XP but without any success.
Would someon please list the steps with Vista? My provider is T-mobile.

The instructions in the sticky worked just fine for me (T-Mobile Pearl). Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the BDM from the BlackBerry website.
