If you can find a case you like, you can always glue a magnet to the back of it. That's what I had to do in the early days of the 8700.

I did not know what. Where do you get the magnet and what kind of magnet to glue to it?

I have just bought a pretty decent leather case, but it does not automatically shut off the screen. Great to learn that I can glue a magnet myself. Thanks a lot for this tip.

I bought a thin disk magnet from kjmagnetics.com and glued it using superglue to a location that trips the holster sensor. You will be able to determine where that is by passing the magnet over the BlackBerry.

Thanks, Doug, that is the only one I found online that has automatic screen shut down magnetic built in, but it is not available for shipping until April 13.

What local store can we get the thin disk magnet? The one online above costs $9 to ship a tiny disck magnet...
