Is there any way to disable the blue flashing "connection" light of the HS-655? I'm a long time Jabra BT800 user, which has this function. Disabling the light was one of the first things I did. I just find it way too distracting.
"Attention K-Mart shoppers..." I mean come-on. It's Bluetooth. I get it. Does it really need a blue, flashing light? Constantly?
If I can't disable the light on the HS-655, does the Bluetooth Jawbone model have this problem? The Jawbone was my second choice. Only because the HS-655 shares AC adapters with my 8100 handset. That and it got rather decent reviews.
The answer to my question is probably "no" and it finally occurred to me why that is [slaps forehead]. The Jabra BT800 that I used in the past has a small LCD screen which indicates the device is powered even if the blue flashing light has been disabled. On the HS-655, there's no way to tell if the device is on, aside from the blue pulse.

That doesn't stop Motorola from allowing you to disable the blue light on their headarts. All my Motorolas either timed out after 5 mins or allowed you to turn off the light.
The HS 655 hasn't turned out to be my favorite headset, even though it was the most expensive. I wish I had my H700 back.
