so is there indeed a way to share ringtones over bluetooth? i have a roomate with a katana(sprint) and a chocolate(verison) and all i can seem to share with them is my address book.....

I know you can Send using Bluetooth...i assume that's what you'd want...i believe you hit the option key when looking at the file you want to send and it's on the list there...

yes thats what i would like to do is send the ringtones. but i didnt see an option to send via bluetooth when i look at my audio files.

If you go to My Media thing, then to RingTones and then (mine are on Device Memory, i don't have an SD card) and then you go to ones you put on there, i have that option...you hit the Blackberry option button, next to the pearl trackball and scroll down

I think the red pearl only works with the white chocolate. The black pearl works with the green chocolate, and so on.

If you're room mate has a Chocolate then I'm assuming they have Verizon. If so Verizon's blue tooth is crippled and the only thing they can connect to is a head set. So you wouldn't be able to send anything through blue tooth w/ anyone that has Verizon. I just barely switched from Verizon.
