I´m new here, have actually a 7100 and very soon a 8100. I use Linux and so I am interested in all about interaction Linux <----> BB, e.g. syncing or backup.
It seems to be a great place, here! Hope for many interesting things.

Welcome to the forums! Check out the Linux Users area here on this site! Tons of great info there! SynceJe is the best solution right now to sync if you are on Linux (it's a sticky thread at the top of the Linux Forum), but Barry .07 should be out soon and might just finally work!
