yes, i called t-mobile and they said that gmail was a beta test and the issue is with gmail, not t-mobile

I'm afraid that mine stopped working, I just sent myself an email to my Gmail account and I did not receive it on my Pearl. :( This really sucks. I have Gmail mobile installed, but I liked having my messages on the message folder and I'm not going back to forwarding.

Yeap, I m still receiving my all my gmails. In fact I just got a new message on that account.

Weird, nothing still...and I've sent myself several emails. Great and now that I tried deleting and re-adding the account in My T-Mobile, I get an error that they can't "validate the account information"....
Another edit: I tried adding a different Gmail account I have and it added with no problems, but my original one won't work...WTF?

tmo customer here, and mine is fine also. In the midst of chatting with friend (she's a Cingular customer) on bb msgr earlier in the evening, hers went down. we spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out. wish I'd come over here first. lol.

Update: I tried my account at 6 AM CDT, and it validated instantly.

Tried it and it validated instantly also. 8 AM ET in Northern Virginia. Maybe it was a network issue as kd78 was told.
