Possible Nextel 7520 Recall!!!
Please Login to Remove!
Just got off the phone with tier 3 support (Nextel).
They are sending me another 7520.
My unit takes about 3 hours to reload after a hard reboot. Its seems this has been a big problem for them over the past 2 weeks.

Exactly, I was wondering the same. I'm an indirect dealer and we haven't received any notices on a recall on the 7520. Sorry. If the phone isn't working the best thing to do is call and have them send you another one...its usually just the unit itself. Hope this helps some.

what he forgot to post is that nextel is saying that they are having a wide spread problem with units crashing to black and white and taking upto 3 hours to reboot after hard reset

This is not a widespread problem!
If so we all would have heard something in the other forums, too.
This is how bad rumors start!
Faceit, how many posts have you seen with people saying it takes hours to boot their BB.

Actually I have talked to three other people today from different places in the country that are having the same issue.
And If I read the post it says Possible Not MASS recall by Nextel

now that i think about it thats when i started having the problem with mine. I spoke to nextel this morning and i was the 24th person in less than 2 days that had the same problem. I've already received my tracting # for the new unit. Should receive it by tomorrow am.
I said it was a possible recall not definate!

Do you have a lot of call logs stored on the your 7520 ? Go to your message application, do a ALT+P and ALT+D to list out all the phone and Direct Connect call logs and delete all of them, it speeds up my start-up quite a bit after I clean up my call logs regular.
