Got tired of waiting for the 83xx or whatever it will be. Bought a pearl, ordered a 2gb memory card, BSE for the screen. I need a belt type holster that auto locks the keyboard. I went through all types in 3+ years with my 7100t, some worked fine, some too cheap to last. I'd prefer something that looks nice yet functional and offering solid protection for the bb. Any suggestions? If there is a thread existing kindly point me in the right direction. Thanks

I recommend the T-Mobile SDA case as a belt/holster for the 8100. Works great.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm leaning towards a horizontal belt type like this one. I like the heavy duty metal clip, I've had problems in the past when the clip is covered with leather or another material, I get in a hurry and try jamming on my belt too hard, they begin self destructing.

I'm with NJ - I bought the black leather holster at my TMO shop one day 1 and it works great.

I use the T-Mobile holster for the RAZR. It is the perfect size and the phone sits horizontally rather than vertically. Since the top of the holster is held closed by a magnet, it triggers the "in holster" behaviour as well. The T-Mobile Pearl holster was vertically oriented.

Why did I wait so long for the Pearl, I should have bought it when they first came out! Brought all data over from the 7100t, reloaded all apps, plastered on a BSE, accomplished without screaming or cursing. Thought I would miss the size and keyboard of the 7100t but I'm not looking back anymore, love the Pearl! (Note: if you're a perfectionist buy at least 2 BSEs so you can screw one up and lay the second one down perfectly.)
