Default Strange Application problem-Memo

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have this 8100 pearl and all the sync. are fine, but I cannot see the MEMO application on my blackberry. Any help? I sync from my outlook and got no errors and I set it to sync the memo as well. What am I doing wrong? I see it on my other BB, but not on this one.

Please help

Is your Memo icon hidden? Click ALT - TRACKBALL to SHOW ALL.

Or look for Options, Advanced, Applications, click to Modules, scroll down to see if you have net_rim_bb_memo_app. In alphabetical order.

Ok, is Modules not on the list, or is "net_rim_bb_memo_app" not in your list of modules?

If "net_rim_bb_memo_app" is not in your list of modules, you need to load the current OS you have to your PC, and ADD it via Desktop Manager, Application Loader.

Or just ignore that you don't have the memo app, probably a safer route.

Open Desktop Manager, click Backup, and make a complete back of your BB.

If you don't already have your current OS downloaded to your PC... do so (making sure you get the exact same OS as currently running on your BB:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...ry-device.html
Execute the file.

Open Desktop Manager. Click Application Loader, click ADD, you should see a list of options and apps loaded on your BB, and on your Desktop. In the BB column, find the Memo App, the box next to it will likely be unchecked, so check it. Proceed as instructed by the Application Loader.
