Hi All:
I have 8700 BB, device display "SOS", remove/reinsert SIM but same, insert non-BB SIM get the same.
The device is within the coverage area with 2 Carrier, when i did manual scan for available networks, get error: Emergency service only.
Other mobile device works fine in the same location.



Any Sugg plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Sounds like a bad BB device; did you purchase it new?

Like snowskier79 asked, is it a new BB? The SIMs you are trying in other ohones are the same one(s) you are using in the BB? Make sure also the SIM(s) is/are not damaged.

It is not new one, it was working fine.
the SIM working fine in Nokia mobile in the same location.
