I updated the APN address to +cgdont=1,:IP","wap.voicestream.com"

could that be the culprit?

Did you try manually updating it? I get this after rebooting, I'm guessing since the device hasn't connected yet.

Halford, yes "wap.voicestream.com" should be the APN. You can leave the username and password blank.

Under BBToday > Preferences: Disable MDS Proxy = check the box,

and REBOOT again after making those adjustments.

Halford, what do you have for the location ID for weather, I just the zip code now, I use to get the NOAA codes, but the zips work fine for me...

BTW, Birmingham here also. I have zip 35209 in mine.

BBWeather or BBToday?? If it's BBWeather for those reading this thread, see my tips site and you can find a link to .75 which allows Alt-spacebar to update the weather.
