Default anyway to make a POP3 account NOT automatically reconcile?

Please Login to Remove!

I have two Pop3's set up (work, and home).

they are currently BOTH reconciling automatically. I want to change the home email (wife generated spam) to only download on demand.

I changed the Option Wireless Reconcile to NO, but they are still showing up.

Wireless reconcile won't do it for what you need. You can go to you carrier's BIS website where you setup the email to go your blackberry and set a filter there you can turn on and off at will, select the settting "do not forward to handheld".
However, I warn you, when you turn it back on, any email that has not been deleted from that POP account will ALL come flowing down to your BB.

ok, bummer.

If I'm on the internet to change the filter, I may as well check the home e-mail.

so no way to set it to check on demand only huh?

Nope. Your other option would be to configure forwarding rules on your mail host and send what you do want pushed to your @carrier.blackberry.net account.

What about a third party email app?

And as for the search comment...

maybe I should have added "I already searched for this" to my sig...
