You need to wait until Tuesday, Monday (tomorrow) is public holiday in Germany, then the 8300 will be launched by T-Mobile Germany.

i was working this morning at timberland (evidently it's a very popular clothing brand in germany). i was helping a couple out and a woman pulled out an 8300. i was amazed since it was the first time i saw one. i was absolutely astonished by the device and was tempted to snatch it out of her hands haha. i am pretty sure they were from germany... IT WAS AMAZING!!

Heh.

I ran into this thread hoping the 'sighting' meant it was on sale somewhere. I feel like I'm looking for Bigfoot or something.

Anyway, hope this helps.

Handy BlackBerry Curve mit Vertrag und ohne Vertrag bei T-Mobile
I don't speak German, but it looks that site says it'll be available in June in Germany.

T-Mobile Germany is selling two different variants of each BlackBerry device - one for BIS (Prosumer) users and one for BES and BIS (Corporate Solution) users. The BIS-only variant will be available in June, the BES and BIS variant will be available this week.
If you want to use the device with a different carrier than T-Mobile Germany, then you will need to buy the BES and BIS variant. The BIS-only variant only works with T-Mobile Germany Prosumer accounts.
