Seem like old news to me, but maybe I'm missing something?

Just read it on ITWorld Canada

8820 actually will come first - demo units have been spotted and tested already

It doesnt explicitly confirm that wifi and gps will coexist. Only that a version with wifi will be available q3 2007. It is entirely possible they will cut gps. Have any of the test unit reviewers commented on this yet?

I believe it is actually an 8320. I was told by a TMO rep that they were thinking they would get it first but that was about a month ago... must have been rumer.

The key is the line that says WiFi. The line reads WiFi: 8820 (Q3, 2007). I believe that we can assume that the 8820 = 8800 + WiFi

my prediction is t-mobiles version of the curve will have wifi. And I think it will be an 8320. from all the articles I have read this is the direction it looks to be going in. can somebody tell me what the big advantages would be for it to have wifi?

If you go to RIM's blackberry site and do a feature comparison between the curve and the 8800, there are no functional differences. So is there anything this is different other than the appearance?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

We'll dosn't the curve have a camera. If not then your conlusion is right.
8800 still looks cool. But I agree ther need to be som significant upgrades faster processor. Nvifia gpu, wifi ect.
