Default getting "more" in SMS messages

Please Login to Remove!

I've been getting my email forwarded to my SMS messages, (since I dont have a BB plan), however some of the message gets cut off and the SMS says "More?" at the bottom. How do I get more? I have "auto more" set to yes, in the general options

Thanks in advance!

Many carriers have SMS set to 160 carriers. That is why it is called "Short Message Service" - or SMS for short. You can't get more. The auto more is applicable to email messages.

Have the BB Feature enable, I believe if it goes above 160 characters it becomes an MMS.

Taken from Tmo website - "The MMS will enable legacy device support using the T-Mobile text messaging service. The T-Mobile text messaging service and MMS share the tmomail.net e-mail domain. This means that an MMS capable customer addressed as [email address] receives an e-mail in the form of an MMS message, if the message contains media of type image or sound or text longer than 160 characters"

For Tmo they have a feature that enables you to have MMS without having to pay for the data plan, check if Cingular offers the same feature. It should be the same address.

for rogers, it says (Reply "M" for "More").. don't know if that's the same for your carrier.

i'm gonna try that right now

(edit). Yea, that worked (replying M) - however it only sends me 1 SMS at a time, so to get the whole message, i'd need to continue to reply "M" until the whole thing is sent. A little annoying, but we'll see.

(another edit). Replying "all" actually sent me the remaining part of the message....look what a little guess and check can do
